I may not think Madonna (Donna)is as extraordinary as her INSANE stans, but I can't deny her impact in music. Donna is a legend and has more talent than most of the artist we have now. Chris Brown has copped a plea in his assault case. He'll spend 180 days probation in Virginia.He gets 5 years probation for FELONY assault.

Truth be told ya'll I really don't care. It appears they've both moved on, and are trying to get their lives and careers back on track. What Chris did was very wrong. I can say the punishment doesn't really fit the crime, but who know this maybe what Rihanna wanted. Anyway Rihanna is about to have another Good Girl Gone Bad era all over again this time even BIGGER! And I do know Chris's real trial begins when his singles and album drop!

1. The Voice- If I had to describe her voice I would say it's across between Janet and Sade. She has a very smooth, sweet, and unique voice. If you're really a fan you can hear the evolution of her voice from Me & U to Must Be Love.

2. The Look- Lets face Cassie is HOTT!!! Most people faves could only wish to have to appearance she has. The new shave adds a edgy/exotic vibe, something similar to the cut Rihanna got for her Good Girl Gone Bad era.

3. The Music- People let me say this, don't listen to the HATERS cause if you go and actually listen to a Cassie track you are going to like it trust me. Her songs range from DANCE to SENSUAL. All her music seems to be laced with hypnotic production and catchy hook, and a delivery given a way only Cassie can do.

This is so BLAH. The song Number 1 Sex is very low okay, but it's not even on the same level as similar songs like Birthday Sex. R. Kelly is supposed to be a " R&B Legend" so I expect great music not recycled crap. This is just your run of the mile R.Kelly talking about Surprise Surprise sex nothing new or creative about it. However Keri does a great job is the only thing that saves the track.(-_-)

I am HOOKED! I just played a 15 sec. clip like 20 times already, so I already know that once the track officially releases it's going to to rule the known world. To best describe the track, it's very different from anything I've heard Shakira do and not like anything out now. The song has this natural earth/disco vibe, and what sounds like violins playing to create operatic horror sound.

That ish was so not TRASHY, but actually funny and kinda am I really about to say this GOOD!!!! Her rapping skills weren't as bad as I thought they would be. IMO she's on Soulja Boy level of rap and if she dropped this song right now it would probably chart ya'll. T-pain also did his thing. All and all that skit was CRAZYCOOLFUN from start to finish.

CY: You spend almost two decades with Matthew Knowles and then you guys departed recently. So he’s no longer managing you. Was it just like you wanted to go in a different direction, or was it just that you guys did everything you possibly could with each other?

KR: “I wanted to go in a different direction to be quite honest with you. I felt like Matthew and myself, our relationship just came to a point where for me, I felt like I wasn’t really growing anymore if I’m being completely honest with you. I just felt like I wasn’t growing anymore. I think that it’s really great when you can part with someone and it’s a mutual thing. It’s like, ok you know? Go spread your wings. It took a long time to actually come up with my final decision because it was something that you think about before when you feel like you’re almost hitting a ceiling. I wanted a change. I needed a change. So that’s what happened. He’s been supportive. Beyoncé’s been supportive. Michelle has been supportive. Tina [Knowles] has been supportive, who I call my Mamma T. Also starting an organization for young girls called I Heart My Girlfriends I’m so excited about, which basically will be an organization for young girls to gather amongst each other, talk about different things and to allow them an outlet to be able to talk and to ask questions, like every day questions about different things that might be on their chest. So I’m excited about that, putting together another record above anything because I have a single out right now. Actually, I’m featured on this artist’s, he’s a French artist. His name is David Guetta and he is so talented. We actually did a song together called When Love Takes Over. If you haven’t heard it you must hear it. It’s fantastic. We just shot the video for it this past week and I’m excited. I think that it’s nowhere else to go but up from here and we’re just constantly keeping this train moving man. Yeah.”

This was a great interview. It was very informative of her relationship with the Knowles(even though we all that's complete B.S.) COOL BOSS beans that Kelly R. plans to do more tv. The Fashion Show is quite well recently getting over 1 million which is great for a channel like Bravo. Her musical career is in OVER DRIVE with When Love Takes Over and I can't wait to see what comes next...

I couldn't agree more!!! Its the DARKEST track she's ever done, and I didn't think Cici could go darker than her classic Promise. Like a Surgeon is guaranteed to become a Promise sized hit if not BIGGER and may even get her a Grammy nod. I also agree with the Aaliyah comparison cause any A fan knows she was the Queen of dramatic dark angst ridden songs.

We haven't heard that much from Jennifer Lopez in a while. Since she and husband Marc Anthony welcomed twins in February 2008, Lopez has been lying low and spending time with Emme and Max. But the superstar singer/actress told MTV News on the set of her new film "The Back-Up Plan" (due in theaters in January) that she's excited to get back to work. "I worked on music while I was pregnant and while I was at home, but now to really get into it and focus on it and to finish the project is exciting," Lopez said. She is already working on her next album, which will be the first since 2007's Brave. Lopez said she's working on a few singles and trying to finish the album, so it could be out later this year. The album will have a very focused concept, but she wasn't willing to reveal exactly what that concept is just yet. "You can't help but put not only your kids into it, but to put anything you are going through in your music," she said. "That's the only thing you can really sing or write is stuff that you know. The more music you make and the more that you get into it and the more you write, the more you realize that's all you can write." She said that the leaked singles "One Love" and "What Is Love" do hint at the direction of the album. "You can kind of get a gist of where I'm going with it, I think," she said. I personally like the title. I Imagine this song will detail the dirty/edgy New York underground world Lady Gaga was "born" in. And based on that I expect nothing but pure INSANITY!!!! MTV news interviewed 50 about his new mixtape called War Angel

The G-Unit General is putting out a project of all-new material called War Angel LP on Tuesday via ThisIs50.com. He says it's more like a street album than a mixtape. Fif -- who's in L.A. right now recording Before I Self Destruct with Timbaland and Polow Da Don — said he's throwing heat rocks all summer long, then dropping his official LP in September (dare we dream he drops the same day as Jay?).

"I'm finnin' to get on the street, you already know what time it is," he said via cell.
The tagline for the project is "Prepare for Total Destruction."
"You know what it is, it's a conflict," Fif described. "The exact opposite. I didn't want to write Angel Demon. It's not the contrast between good and bad. But ... if someone's at war, I'm sure they're saying their prayers. They believe they have angels around them. What would you call an angel around a soldier at war?"

If you follow my blog you know if I use that many caps and that many adjectives it must be great. The High Road is full of nothing but hits. I finally see that Jo's label SUCKS!!!! Katharine McPhee new songs information has been released.

Two new Katharine song titles have been registered on the BMI song repertoire. The tracks are entitled "Anybody's Heart" and "Dynamite". Katharine co-wrote both songs with powerhouse songwriters Barry Dean and Luke Laird. Both guys have worked extensively with Carrie Underwood amongst many others.

I have always liked Katharine McPhee!!!! I thought LoveStory would be a smash cause it's was too good to not be in the top 10. As for the post I'm sure everyone is thinking the same thing. Is McPhee about to go country? In all honesty I don't think this would be a bad move on her part. She's got the look, the voice, and country is get into. And based on her 1st album I don't think the mainstream audience is really checking for her.

T-Pain isn't budging from his Auto-Tune use in the wake of Jay-Z's new song, "D.O.A." In fact, the Tallahassee star is embracing song's message. The computer-aided singer recently revealed on Twitter that he plans to push up the release of his new album from next year to this November instead.


"I'm droppin a new album called UBER," T-Pain wrote.

Queen Latifah (QL) recently opened up about being sexually abused by what sounds like a babysitter.

With a career filled with musical and acting accomplishments, Queen Latifah has more than made a name for herself in the eyes of observers and fans while keeping a careful watch over details over her personal life.

But in an interview with Essence magazine, the rapper/actress opens up about being a victim of sexual abuse during her childhood.

According to Latifah, the abuse occurred over a period of time at the hands the hands of a teenager charged with watching her.

"He violated me," the entertainer said in the latest issue of the magazine. "I never told anybody; I just buried it as deeply as I could and kept people at an arm's distance. I never really let a person get too close to me. I could have been married years ago, but I had a commitment issue."

Despite the drama, Latifah chose to remain quiet about the abuse.

It wasn’t until the death of her brother when she was 22-years-old that she decided to tell her parents about what happened.

“I knew that I couldn't carry his death and that secret," Latifah shared. "I had to get it off my chest. My mother felt terrible. She was kind of a country girl, so she wasn't up on how slick people could be. When I told my dad, he said nothing."

With her father’s response, Latifah admitted it was scary as she told Essence that "he's a man of action."

Years later, the rapper, who blamed herself for the sexual abuse, has finally come to terms with her ordeal after speaking with her therapist.

"I was a kid, and I had no power or control over the situation. I really wish I'd had the strength and the knowledge to say something sooner, because I always wondered, Did he do that to someone else? But I accept that the time for action has come and gone," said Latifah, who is moving forward after being at peace with her traumatic past.

This -ish makes me 38 HOTT!!! I hate when people abuse children. Their children and should be protected not attacked by people they think they can trust. I'm glad Queen is coming to terms with the issue. QL is a BOSS and commands any projects she's involved in.

Lauryn Say it Ain't so

Lauryn Hill has canceled her European tour dates due to health problems. Here's what being reported below:

Festival organizers say hip-hop and R&B singer Lauryn Hill has canceled all tour dates in Europe this summer for health reasons. Stockholm Jazz Festival spokeswoman Liisa Tolonen says the artist's agent informed the festival late Tuesday that all performances in Europe by the former Fugees singer have been canceled. This includes shows in Sweden, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Austria. Tolonen said Wednesday the agent cited health reasons for the cancellation but declined to give more details. The tour would have marked a comeback to stage by Hill who has kept a low public profile in recent years. She was the planned headline act for The Stockholm Jazz Festival, one of Sweden's biggest music events.

This sad I was really ready for Lauryn (LH) comeback. I mean how many deep R&B chicks do we have left? Just a few but none who have made it to my FAVE list! The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is always on constant play and is a classic!!! Lloyd has departed from The INC records. Details below:

R&B singer Lloyd has parted ways with his longtime record label The Inc.- just a month after Ashanti walked out of her contract at the music firm.
Ashanti left the label, run by music mogul Irv Gotti, in May (09) after years of reportedly frosty relations with The Inc. bosses. And Lloyd has now followed her out the door after releasing three albums with the company - but insists the split was amicable. He tells AllHipHop.com, “I’m ready for a change. There’s no bad blood. I just feel I need to take more control over my career and get a fresh start. Hopefully Irv can understand my position."

Lloyd’s manager, Henry 'Noonie' Lee, adds: "Even though Lloyd is appreciative of the opportunity that has been afforded him by The Inc, he feels it’s time for him to move on and seek opportunities that will allow him to build and enhance his brand.”

I can't say I'm mad at the move cause the Inc. isn't in any position to be handling a established artist like LlD. I've always liked Lloyd, vocally and musically he's simply the TRUTH!!!! That's complete BS. Are you kidding me! They let her go because they were moving away from the urban direction. I am never one to scream racist but this just..... well RACIST. I say that because Tiff is the darkest member of Girlicious and the only member who people would identify as black. So if that's not the reason what is it? Is it her voice? IMO her vocals could perfectly fit on urban and POP tracks, so label what other excuses do you have? And as for the morals part that simply confirms my notion that the girls in that group lived by the images they created and Tiffanie its a good thing you got outta there. Cause you could've caught something if they were doing the MOST!!! Like I said yesterday Tiff on to bigger and better things in the world of SOLO.

I also have to say vocally her track is better because when it comes to hitting those higher notes Jo doesn't rely on auto-tune. Kanye West revealed today on the View that he and Lady Gaga are about to go on together. The will be no opener, because both artist will be headlining.

Today is just to much for me. Tiffany giving us the basis of what a H** is and now my fave Gaga is going on tour with Kanye!!!! I may not like what Kanye says in interview, but his music is BONKERS. Throw in Lady Gaga and you have one of the edgiest, coolest, talent driven tours we've ever seen. Wouldn't it be crazy if they revealed a new duet between the two during the show!!!!(^_^)

Letoya "H-town" Luckett is now a Venue808 FAVE!!!!!!!!!

Letoya has always been cool in my eyes. When Torn came out I coped it(legally), when She Don't was introduced on 106 and Park I voted for it. So up until this point I would say I was a causal fan. But now all that's changed!! When Not Anymore came out I was still just a causal fan, and felt the song was good. Fast forward to this week I truly listened to Not Anymore along wit She ain't Got S*** On me, and now I and officially a Letoya FAN. These tracks are BONKERS and should be ripping the charts rite now! Another reason you can call me a FAN now is because I did a lil research and found out Letoya L. stay on her grind. She is making movies, owns a store, and has a singing career. Those are the kinds of things I like to see my faves do. Letoya L. you are officially a Venue808 Fave!!! Congrats!!!!

I was kinda iffy on adding Drake publicly because I didn't want to seem like I was jumping on the Drake bandwagon. Kelly Rowland has a new manager?

Reports are saying Kelly R. is now being managed by Jeff Rabhan former manager of "Blind fold me" Kelis.

Okay I'm glad Kelly is moving forward with her solo career, but this is not what I wanted to hear. Don't get me wrong I love Kelis. Her music and style is BONKERS, but her career never went where it should have went and this guy was the person managing her. Milkshake blew up, but her career as a whole never picked. Kelis obtained international success and medicore success here in the states. Which mirrors Kelly's situation now.

I really just wanted to see her with a major label like Interscope and a manager who is a vet in the entertainment industry. Cause if the way Matthew is going after Letoya is any indication of what he plans to do to Kelly she needs the best of the best on her side!
