Wow Let's All Partake

Grab a girl, guy, and (or) yourself and take a listen to the Scissor Sister's "Sex and Violence".

This track is a pure hypnotic trip with its eerie synth heavy production, haunting vocal performance, and very intriguing lyrics. If you want to break your mundane music playlist add this to the mix.

Ciara Wants Dat Ya'll

Ciara's second single "Gimme Dat is currently floating around the web (mainly Twitter)Peep a listen after this point:

*Update* Its now unknown whether Gimme Dat is Ciara official second single, but if it ain't it should BE! This song is so hyper and so infectious  there's no way it wouldn't become a smash hit. Sonically this is by far one of the best uptempos I've heard her record since The Evolution. Believe it or not I can even hear artist growth on the bass heavy Gimme Dat. The Ciara who made Goodies could never handle a beat a complex as this one with such natural ease. Is CiCi about to bring, dead in the water, Crunk music back... I say Yes. All hail the new Queen of Crunk Ciara!

Let's All Check in the Electrick Hotel

Lolene is an up and coming international singer who's about to make major waves! Check out her first official single Rich(Fake It Til You Make It) from her album Electrick Hotel below:

Rich (Fake It Til You Make It)Official Video

If we were betting on future popstars I would have to put my entire college fund behind Lolene! Artistically she's exactly what the industry is about right now fun music, beauty, and the ability to dance. However, she is breaking the mold by actually being able to SING! Lolene, who sings in today's economic times, your doing TOO MUCH! (lol) Lolene says that Madonna, Prince, Debbie Harry, Coldplay, Cyndi Lauper, and Grace Jones are her musical influence and it's easy to find their influence within her music. Of course you all know she's going on the Superstar list!

Ciara Drops a Remix

Ciara and Soulja Boy got together for a song entitled Pretty Girl Swag. Listen below:

I'm really feeling this one from Ciara. She's really on her job to re-secure control of the urban community. She even goes show far to borrow pieces of Soulja Boy's delivery, while still giving us signature CiCi! Basic Instinct is shaping up to be The Evolution 2.0!

Fantasia's New Video

Fantasia's Bittersweet video is making its rounds in the blogsphere and has finally made it to Venue808! Check the video for Bittersweet below:

This is a great R&B cut and will do really well in the urban market. At first I wasn't feeling this song, because I was still trying to tell the Twinkie junkie down the street from me the "Even Angels" learn to fly, but after that was done and I properly listen to this song I was like okay this is good.
