Bless Xtina's soul! She performs 2 zillion times in order for her single and album to succeed then she ends up failing...horribly. Then Britney Spears has the nerve to drop Hold It Against Me with her largest amount of promotion being her sending out a tweet (well somebody sent it out cause we all know B. Spears thinks the computer is a metal box where spirits talk to you) and then it goes #1 on Itunes in 17 countries. Christina I'm mad for you!!!

Hold It Against is the type of track that your fave would sing and end up flopping, simply because the song key selling point is Britney's vocal delivery. B. Spears voice is just a charming and distinctive as it was when she first came on the scene. The singers dishes out breathy vocals a trancey dance beat, then shifts to a pre-chorus similar to that of "Shattered Glass" from her Circus album, before talk-singing the bridge over a INSANE dubset beat. All and All the numbers speak for themselves HIAM effortlessly re-introduces Britney to current music climate without losing an ounce of Britney sound.

On my way to work this morning I was listening to the radio when I heard a song that really caught my attention. It sounded very similar to Ciara's Promise or something you would hear on the Evolution. Since I was already late I had to rush out of the car and missed the mystery artist's name. So I began my search to find out who this singer was. It can't be Ciara because she's still trying to figure out when she's going to drop her album and my next thought was Dondria but it wasn't her either. So thanks to Twitter I was able to contact Tasha Simone, the radio personality who played the song, and she informed it was Arika Kane!

Arika is signed to BSE recordings. She says, "I was always a big fan of music. I grew up smack in the middle of big hits like Mariah Carey's "Vision of Love," and "Vanishing," and Whitney Houston's "Saving All My Love." These were very powerful songs which had a huge effect on me. They had me hooked!"

Now done with the trashtastic Can't Be Tame , Miley has decided to release Two More Lonely People as her second single from her album Can't Be Tamed.

It's pretty good and what's even better I can see it recapturing some of the tween fans she loss after "Can't Be Tamed" was released. It's a nice song and that's my main problem with it, there's nothing extraordinary about the song. But hey I'm 22 and like Prince's hookers in training group Vanity6. At best I see this song charting within the top 20 or top 10 simply.

Both make electro/pop music, and like Hilary, Lights doesn't fit the typical mold for this music because of her unique vocal style. Then to add more controlled substances to her appeal, she has a comic book series called Audio Quest which is a great watch! Currently she's performing in Canada. Which to be honest I thought was one person until I did a little research and found out it was band! Composed of lead singer Jacob Hoggard(who'd make Alicia Keys proud with his piano playing skills)Tommy Mac on bass, Dave Rosin on the guitar and Chris Crippin on drums. This group has what it takes to cross over into the US and dominate! Music consumes my life! That’s the favorite line of every 13- 25 year old. I’m a 21 year old, and I easily fall into that category. I was born in a city called Anniston, Alabama where you either teach stuff, build stuff, or farm stuff. Therefore, there’s always a need for escapism. I’ve always found that escape in the world of music. From the moment I wake up until the time my face crashes into my pillow, I’m constantly listening to music, watching music videos, reading blogs, writing blogs, researching artist, and any and everything in between.

Why do I want the job?

I feel that I’d be perfect match for the TJ position because I’m honestly great with people in the real or digital world. If I'm selected as MTVs first ever TJ I would work to ensure that everyone who follows me feel just as important and respected as the celebrities we see on MTV. Everyone is a Superstar in my eyes and should be treated as such. Gaga knows she has everyone in the palm of her hand and would love nothing more than to test the boundaries to see how far she can push!!!

1. The Voice- If I had to describe her voice I would say it's across between Janet and Sade. She has a very smooth, sweet, and unique voice. If you're really a fan you can hear the evolution of her voice from Me & U to Must Be Love.

2. The Look- Lets face Cassie is HOTT!!! Most people faves could only wish to have to appearance she has. The new shave adds a edgy/exotic vibe, something similar to the cut Rihanna got for her Good Girl Gone Bad era.

3. The Music- People let me say this, don't listen to the HATERS cause if you go and actually listen to a Cassie track you are going to like it trust me. Her songs range from DANCE to SENSUAL. All her music seems to be laced with hypnotic production and catchy hook, and a delivery given a way only Cassie can do.

CY: You spend almost two decades with Matthew Knowles and then you guys departed recently. So he’s no longer managing you. Was it just like you wanted to go in a different direction, or was it just that you guys did everything you possibly could with each other?

KR: “I wanted to go in a different direction to be quite honest with you. I felt like Matthew and myself, our relationship just came to a point where for me, I felt like I wasn’t really growing anymore if I’m being completely honest with you. I just felt like I wasn’t growing anymore. I think that it’s really great when you can part with someone and it’s a mutual thing. It’s like, ok you know? Go spread your wings. It took a long time to actually come up with my final decision because it was something that you think about before when you feel like you’re almost hitting a ceiling. I wanted a change. I needed a change. So that’s what happened. He’s been supportive. Beyoncé’s been supportive. Michelle has been supportive. Tina [Knowles] has been supportive, who I call my Mamma T. We just shot the video for it this past week and I’m excited. I think that it’s nowhere else to go but up from here and we’re just constantly keeping this train moving man. Yeah.”

We haven't heard that much from Jennifer Lopez in a while. Since she and husband Marc Anthony welcomed twins in February 2008, Lopez has been lying low and spending time with Emme and Max. But the superstar singer/actress told MTV News on the set of her new film "The Back-Up Plan" (due in theaters in January) that she's excited to get back to work. "I worked on music while I was pregnant and while I was at home, but now to really get into it and focus on it and to finish the project is exciting," Lopez said. She is already working on her next album, which will be the first since 2007's Brave. Lopez said she's working on a few singles and trying to finish the album, so it could be out later this year. The album will have a very focused concept, but she wasn't willing to reveal exactly what that concept is just yet. "You can't help but put not only your kids into it, but to put anything you are going through in your music," she said. "That's the only thing you can really sing or write is stuff that you know. The more music you make and the more that you get into it and the more you write, the more you realize that's all you can write." I personally like the title. I Imagine this song will detail the dirty/edgy New York underground world Lady Gaga was "born" in. And based on that I expect nothing but pure INSANITY!!!! Something like Just Dance 5.0 mixed with a little of Paper Gangsta(lol) As for the album I title I'm really diggin' it, cause I really think it represent Gaga so well. 1. "Crack Tracks"-Tracks that can become additive and stay stuck in your head for what feels like forever. (Examples Lady Gaga/Just Dance, Rihanna/Umbrella)
2. BONKERS- Something that is out of control hot, also insane.(Examples Kelly Rowland/When Love Takes Over is BONKERS!!)
3.The use of caps and adjectives to described something so amazing, there is no other way to express it than SPAZ on the Keys!!!!
4. Faces(-_-)(^_^)(o_-) represent the different ways I feel about a topic.

As for the song you can tell its a Gaga/Redone rip off, but for what it is it's still good. I would love for this group and Rich Girl to take over the girl group game.

MTV news interviewed 50 about his new mixtape called War Angel

The G-Unit General is putting out a project of all-new material called War Angel LP on Tuesday via ThisIs50.com. He says it's more like a street album than a mixtape. Fif -- who's in L.A. right now recording Before I Self Destruct with Timbaland and Polow Da Don — said he's throwing heat rocks all summer long, then dropping his official LP in September (dare we dream he drops the same day as Jay?).

"I'm finnin' to get on the street, you already know what time it is," he said via cell.
The tagline for the project is "Prepare for Total Destruction."
"You know what it is, it's a conflict," Fif described. "The exact opposite. I didn't want to write Angel Demon. It's not the contrast between good and bad. But ... if someone's at war, I'm sure they're saying their prayers. They believe they have angels around them. What would you call an angel around a soldier at war?"
A War Angel, of course.
"That's why I titled it that," he added. "Creatively, this is not even a mixtape. That's why I put LP next to it. ... My core audience will understand it immediately, and it's written specifically for that."

Usher filed for divorce Friday from his wife of nearly two years, Tameka Foster-Raymond, according to The Associated Press. The petition, filed at Superior Court in Atlanta, did not give a reason for the split.

Okay some of you may not no this but Jojo is one of my many FAVES. To be honest I had kind of forgot about her, until she released the video of her dissing her label for not handling her new album All I Want is Everything right. Then she released her cover of Drake's Houstonatlantavegas. So today of finally coped Jojo's the High Road and it's CRAZYINSANEBONKERS!!!! If you follow my blog you know if I use that many caps and that many adjectives it must be great. The High Road is full of nothing but hits. I finally see that Jo's label SUCKS!!!! This song is really good if you listen to it more than once. Keri goes CRAZY hard and the hook is somewhat hypnotic. I'm unsure however how this will fare on the charts. Asher's debut album Asleep in the Bread Aisle has sold over 100k which is actually good based on the promotions he did. This single may help it reach the half way Gold mark of 250k.

They really have good chemistry which was needed to create the intense vibes they wre giving off!!!My only fear is that with not much "action" happening in video people will become bored with it. Katharine McPhee new songs information has been released.

Two new Katharine song titles have been registered on the BMI song repertoire. The tracks are entitled "Anybody's Heart" and "Dynamite". Katharine co-wrote both songs with powerhouse songwriters Barry Dean and Luke Laird. Both guys have worked extensively with Carrie Underwood amongst many others.

I have always liked Katharine McPhee!!!! I thought LoveStory would be a smash cause it's was too good to not be in the top 10. As for the post I'm sure everyone is thinking the same thing. Is McPhee about to go country? In all honesty I don't think this would be a bad move on her part. She's got the look, the voice, and country is get into. And based on her 1st album I don't think the mainstream audience is really checking for her.

T-pain still using auto-tune y'all.

T-Pain isn't budging from his Auto-Tune use in the wake of Jay-Z's new song, "D.O.A." In fact, the Tallahassee star is embracing song's message. The computer-aided singer recently revealed on Twitter that he plans to push up the release of his new album from next year to this November instead.

"I'm droppin a new album called UBER," T-Pain wrote.
"The album just got pushed up," Pain told MTV News on Sunday (June 7) during the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert. "It was gonna come out September next year. [The record label], they're making me come out November this year. It makes the label look straight. I was gonna chill, because it was so many people that do what I do — now Jay-Z done dropped the 'Death of Auto-Tune' and it's time for me to come back." And yes, Pain says he will be using the vocal enhancement style he re-popularized. "Oh yeah," he said about whether he'll still use Auto-Tune. "Definitely now. Jay-Z said something ... I gotta do it now. It's nothing outta the ordinary, so I'm ready."

Can T-Pain even sing? I mean at one point in time he had some vocal skill, however he started to rely too much on auto-tune. That's why he doesn't want stop using it, cause he can't sing anymore!!!!!!! I want T-Pain to come out with some stuff that showcases a VOICE if he really wants respect from me as being a true artist who doesn't just rely on a machine.
